Meet some of the artists from Wobby #37 - Far From Home: Anna Sarvira (UA/DE) from Pictoric, Marina Sulima (MD/RO/NL) and Khattar Shaheen (SY/NL).
Wobby #37 - Far From Home is co-curated by Pictoric, a Ukrainian community of illustrators. They've been organizing multiple projects, exhibitions, workshops and lectures since 2014. Illustrator Anna Sarvira, who fled to Germany, is the co-founder of the collective. For this Wobby issue, we wondered what home means: is it a place, a feeling, people, or a moment in our past? And can we return to it?
In this interview, we introduce Pictoric, talk about Marina and Khattar's graduation projects, what home means to them, how they've experienced moving to the Netherlands, and of course, we reveal the new Wobby issue.
