Wobby.club is hosting a New Year's Deception to start the new year. The day before *Blue Monday you can prepare yourself at Wobby's New Year's Deception in NS16 Tilburg for things to come.

Wobby #11 is launched!

This time 'Daarom!' ('That's why!') is the theme of our new 11th edition of Wobby in which we focused on the possible answers to all the questions asked during these troubled times. It fitted so well with the theme of this year's 'Graphic Matters' that we decided to launch it there during our Radio Wobtit program.

The launch took place on October first at the Graphic Matters Festival while broadcasting Radio Wobtit. There we interviewed some of these guest artists and writers about their contribution to the A2 posters they made for our 'The Half Truth' exhibition.
You can visit this exhibition and participate in our 'The Half Truth' pamphlet-making workshop at Graphic Matters until the 22th of october.

Wobby is a Dutch Risograph printed, thematic magazine, published by Wobby.club;

The theme of the last issue of 2016 is nasty stuff.

Magical Riso #2

We’re very honored and excited to be selected for the expert meeting/seminar about Risoprinting: Magical Riso #2 at the Charles Nypelslab at Van Eyck Academy Maastricht.
Riso colleagues from all over the world will give presentations.
Marjolein Schalk, one of the founders of Wobby.club will talk about zinemaking in The Netherlands.

Stripdagen Haarlem

We had a great weekend at Stripdagen Haarlem at our Wobby.club stand. Jip Piet, Bart Schoofs and Stijn Peeters joined us and we sold work of Wobby guests Paul Faassen and Anne Stalinski. We also met a lot of other nice artists and future Wobby guests.

For Stripdagen Haarlem Wobby.club made a special edition in collaboration with Kapitaal Utrecht.
22 artists created new work about the theme 'De Kelder' / ‘The Cellar’. Risograph printed by Kapitaal Utrecht (Orange and Blue) and Wobby.club (Pink and Green).

Wobby expositie Bergen op Zoom

Studio De Leijer exposeert in Het Markiezenhof te Bergen op Zoom.
Tijdens de twee laatste weekenden van de expositie ZientuigeN in het koetshuis van Het Markiezenhof is werk te zien van Jeroen de Leijer, Marjolein Schalk en Steppie Lloyd Trumpstein (waarvan de laatste twee roots in Bergen op Zoom hebben).
De drie zijn de vaste tekenaars en oprichters van Wobby, een onafhankelijk magazine dat 4 x per jaar verschijnt.
Wobby wordt eigenhandig gestencild en telt 48 pagina’s visueel geweld.

De tekenaars zullen op 19 en 26 september (15 u) live aanwezig zijn om middels telepathie uw gedachten te tekenen. Tevens zal Jeroen de Leijer uitleg geven over zijn Kenjezelf Kit, een methode die hij intuïtief ontwikkeld heeft om middels zelfreflectie onbestemde momenten te duiden zonder daarbij het moment in te vullen.

Uiteraard zal Wobby er ook te koop zijn.

De Wobby-expositie is te zien op:

Wobby is van start!

Wobby is een onafhankelijke zine, gedrukt op de Riso, dat 4 x per jaar gaat verschijnen met vaste bijdragen van tekenaars Jeroen de Leijer, Marjolein Schalk en Steppie Lloyd Trumpstein, aangevuld met gasttekenaars en -schrijvers.
Wobby zal in de losse verkoop verkocht gaan worden. Ook is er de mogelijkheid een jaarabonnement af te sluiten met extra voordeeltjes zoals buttons of kaarten.
Naast Wobby worden er ook andere publicaties uitgegeven, zoals het Kleurloze Kerst Kleurboek.
